At the May 4th meeting of the Burnsville Town Council, a proclamation was read urging all citizens to join the Council in commemorating police officers, past and present, who by their faithful and loyal devotion to their responsibilities have rendered a dedicated service to their communities and, in doing so, have established for themselves an enviable and enduring reputation for preserving the rights and security of all citizens.
The Burnsville Town Council supports and recognizes the vital role law enforcement officers have within our community. These servants and their families make enormous personal sacrifices but have answered their community’s call to serve in a profession that comes with inherent danger and at any given time may place them in harms way to secure the well-being of others.
