Burnsville Elementary and ASU’s IDEXLab visit Burnsville

On December 3rd, 2021, third graders from Burnsville Elementary School visited Town Hall.  Town Manager Heather Hockaday, Police Chief Brian Buchanan, and newly elected Mayor Russell Fox spoke to the children about Burnsville history, the role of local government, and the importance of public service.

Also on December 3rd students from ASU’s IDEXLab returned to Burnsville to present their individual concepts and designs for the renovation of the old Burnsville Fire Station.  The facility will be renovated to house the Police and Public Works departments. Mayor Fox and members of the staff were on hand to see nearly 20 creative and thought-provoking concepts through 3D model and slide presentation.
